White Stripes play with Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones

NME.com is reporting that The Rolling Stones tour ‘06 got a huge boost last night, October the 29th, with the added talent of Christina Aguilera and The White Stripes’ Jack White. Playing at Manhattan’s Beacon theater, the band rocked an excellent set, with Aguilera and White each chipping in on a song each.

Start Me Up’
‘Shattered’
‘She Was Hot’
‘All Down The Line’
‘Loving Cup’
‘As Tears Go By’
‘I’m Free’
‘Undercover Of The Night’
‘(Just My) Imagination’
‘Shine A Light’
‘Champagne & Reefer’
‘Tumbling Dice’
‘You Got The Silver’
‘Little T and A’
‘Sympathy For The Devil’
‘Live With Me’
‘Paint It Black’
‘Jumping Jack Flash’
‘(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction’

White lent his vocal talents to “Loving Cup,” singing along with Mick, and Aguilera took over “Live with me.”

The Stones played tonight for Bill Clinton’s birthday party, Political Gateway is reporting, to a house packed with stars. Unfortunately, some scalpers outside decided to take advantage of the huge draw the famous house and stage had, and sold tickets to an invite-only show. Ouch.

Lesson: buy from other fans, not from thieves.

For legitimate tickets, StubHub is selling November 3 Rolling Stones tickets to the Vancouver BC Place Stadium, where they’ll be joined by Van Morrison. Tickets are ranging from $125 to $1150, check ‘em out while they’re still there.
