Stones’ Warsaw Concert Will Donate Proceeds to Crash Victims

The next concert on the Rolling Stones’ A Bigger Bang Tour which will beĀ held on Wednesday, July 25, 2007, will give part of its proceeds to the 26 Polish pilgrims who were killed in a coach crash in France. The concert, which will be held in Warsaw and the Stones have decicded to go ahead with teh concert even as the country of Poland itself will have just finished three days of national mourning for the victimes of the crash on Sunday, July 22, 2007.

The accident that ended up with 26 passengers dead occured in the French Alps, near hte city of Grenoble. Understanding the pain that hte families of the 26 victims are in, the STones chose to donate part of their proceds to these families, to show thier support and sympathy. Like the rock legends they are, hwoever, the show will go on and The Rolling Stones will still perform their Warsaw concert on July 25, 2007.
