Going Universal!

The Rolling Stones have officially left EMI and have gone Universal….Universal Records, that is.  The Stones have been with their label, EMI for many years, but recently made the switch to Universal.  The deal will essentially give Universal rights to all future Stones studio albums, as well as the band’s back catalogue, going all the way back to the early 1970s.

The label is reportedly happy to have the Stones on board as they are obviously considered one of the most important bands in music history.  They are a good band for Universal to have on their books.  The Rolling Stones just keep on rolling.  Even as band members age, these guys show no signs of slowing down.  Be sure to get your own pair of Rolling Stones tickets from stubhub.com.
