World Popuularity For the Stones

The Rolling Stones have often been referred to as “The Greatest Rock N’ Roll Band.”  It is by no accident, the Stones have frenzied fans across the globe, who would readily agree with the title bestowed upon this 1960s and 1970s rock group.  However in the Philippines, it seems that Stones fans are in short supply.  Most people there can readily name the Stones’ most popular tune, “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction,” but are lacking in a database of other Stones songs.  The other in this article believes that this truly is a shame, the Rolling Stones are, after all….cooler than cool.

The folks in Manila are steadfastly more Beatles fans than Stones fans, apparently with many people responding warmly to the more peppy pop tunes.
