A Glimpse Back Into the 1960s

A huge photographic exhibition covering the musical artists of the 1960s opens today at the National Portrait Gallery in London.  Called, Beatles to Bowie: The 60s Exposed, the exhibition will celebrate several leading pop music personalities that helped create the musical atmosphere of London during the era.  Included in the show will be 150 photographs and 150 items of ephemera including record sleeves and sheet music and magazines.  The essential rivalry of The Beatles and the Rolling Stones is played out through a variety of old photographs, taken when the bands were first getting started.

Take a look at some of the most classic images snapped of the Rolling Stones and get a sneak peak at some previously unseen photographs through this fascintating exhibition.  Any Stones fan should make it a priority to see the documented lives and times of the members of the Rolling Stones - from when they first started up until today.  You can still see the rockers perform live onstage with your own pair of Rolling Stones tickets directly from Stubhub!
